Greenough & Sons Ltd
Greenough Roofing was established on Anglesey by David Greenough in 1971. Ever since the Company (and family!) has grown from strength to strength, and in 1989 it was incorporated as Greenough & Sons Roofing Contractors Ltd. The Company has earned a nationwide reputation for craftsmanship and service, specialising in natural slating, leadwork, and heritage roof restoration.
David sadly passed away in 2020, and today his sons Davy, Dan, Jon and Tom and grandson Chris continue to lead the Company with David’s values of hard work, friendly service, and pride in the job.
The team today are 100% locally employed, highly skilled craftsmen with many years’ experience – and many awards on the shelves. With a close relationship with the local college, all new employees begin a training pathway from the first day, enrolling on the NVQ Level 2 in Roof Slating & Tiling.
Our slating foremen have achieved NVQ Level 3 in Heritage Roofing, and our leadworkers hold the prestigious CSCS Heritage Gold Cards in Leadworking.
The vast experience of our management team and our skilled craftsmen mean the Company is equally adept on large scale council maintenance schemes and full restorations of country estates, churches and castles, as well as domestic re-roofing projects.
